Stargate Homeworld: Breaking Point

"Pleasure to meet you," Kamarov replied, shaking Ms. Marx's hand. The self confessed 'computer geek' was delivered some cell phones which had been hacked, and explained her intention to examine if they had been tampered with. "Dar, is good idea," Alek commented.

Turning back to his console, the Russian engineer and execute the compile routine on the code he'd written. The program quickly came together, and within a matter of seconds was ready to go. The program didn't look pretty and wasn't user friendly, but it was fast and robust. If he'd done his job correctly the small program would be able to rapidly crawl through all the video footage he'd gathered for evidence of the Ice Queen.

Saying a Russian prayer under his breath, Kamarov opened the newly minted program and pressed the execute button. A progress bar appeared on his screen, ticking down as the program fulfilled the task it was created it. It could take quite some time for the piece of code to do its work, giving him a chance to pursue other leads.

"Any luck with mobile phones," he asked Lena. He didn't know much about their coding or internal workings, but a spare pair of hands never hurt.

As Farrah sat with the two men, she couldn't help but wonder what Ice Queen's endgame was. Why send the emails at all? It was obviously meant to get a rise - both from the government, as well as the people in question. The occasional intimate detail was slid very carefully between words. A psychological game that didn't make much sense to Farrah.

It was obvious that this would happen. Of course the government would round up a group of capable people to track her down. How else would they react to such an attack? Did she want to get caught?

An idea emerged in the back of Farrah's mind, as Eric began saying information that was honestly nothing new. Allowing him to continue to speak, she simply nodded - jotting a few things down on a notebook that was cradled in her hands. Seeing movement from the corner of her eye, she spotted Logan's words - feeling her own idea get confirmed.

She fed them the emails.

On her own notebook she quickly scribbled, "Emails meant to distract us from something bigger?"

The more Farrah thought about it, the more it made sense. Why poke a giant - unless you want to get his attention, so he doesn't notice whatever is happening behind him.

"Thank you, Eric," she smiled, knowing he was set up as a distraction. This was all a giant distraction. But from what?

Turning back to her own laptop, she began scrolling through the various emails once more - looking for something. There were people filling the room doing the same exact thing. However, the idea of 'distraction' had caused the woman to focus in on a new way to look at the emails. Pulling up one that had actually never been delivered - which was uncommon, since most made it through the spam filters and were reported - Farrah leaned her head to the side slightly - eyes scanning over the few words.

"Logan...take a look at this," she gestured to the email that was meant for Aiko Tanaka.
