Downtown; Starbucks
Washington, DC
Logan attempted not to look freaked out at the newest addition to their little gathering. Of course, he recognized Azalea from the briefing and files. He silently cursed himself if his facebook check-in was to blame for this. It's not that he didn't like these people, far from it - he was comfortable. It just felt a little odd to him, having so many coworkers around by chance. Logan was a creature of paranoia. From what he'd read, though, this newcomer would be an excellent addition to his team. He lifted up a heartfelt thanks to the gods who graced his team with another attractive piece of eye candy. One trained at the stargate academy, too - not a bad addition, beings most of the team members were conscriptees.
He couldn't help notice Ayden grow a little chilly with the addition of the Lieutenant to the table. That could prove to be an interesting ordeal to watch unfold. Rather than jump out of the gate pressing buttons, however, Logan felt it necessary to show her his support. As Ayden introduced him, he leaned up, reaching his dominant hand across the table, offering it to her. "Pleased, Lieutenant Andre," he said with a smile. He was a large, intimidating man, under the proper circumstances. He had large hands, controlled by strong muscles. He always did his best to not intimidate those around him, but - especially when you figure in his intellect and reputation, he had a hard time of that, especially around normal soldiers.
As he rose to shake her hand, he couldn't help but steal another free glance at Farrah. Shame she and I aren't on the same team... He thought to himself in passing. It didn't matter, really - two behavioral scientists on the same team would butt heads like crazy. Probably for the best that they won't have to constantly deal with each other. He felt sorry for her and Ayden having to match wits on the daily. That would almost be worth watching. Almost. But who ever wants to just watch?
<TAG: Farrah, Ayden, Azalea> OOC: Removing the everyone tag, lest this turn into a regular party.
