ORP: This is My Language

"Don't forget you're a free man now as well."

Orson rose a brow, eyes sliding to the table as his mind replayed the last bit of his life. His reaction to getting divorced wasn't exactly elegant nor something he was proud of. His mind snapped into a strange need for a mixture of revenge and returning to his pre-marriage self. To be quite blunt, Orson had slept around considerably since his wife left him. He knew it wasn't healthy nor the best way to handle things. In a weird way, he was proud of himself as well. Still able to hook up with women as easily as he could when he was fresh off the plain from Spain. And even before then - but his parents didn't need to know that.

"Perhaps a bit too free," he narrowed his eyes as he sipped his drink, before laughing under his breath and shaking his head.

Upon asking if he was happy, Orson simply shrugged, "Honestly not sure how I feel. Lily was a very unique woman. But apparently I wasn't a very unique man to her."

All of Lily's friends were convinced that Orson was cheating on her. In reality, it was rather reversed - causing them to fight loudly nearly every night. She blamed him for her cheating. But everyone who knew them both would always assume the awkward tension was due to a screw up on Orson's part. Though he was a man who enjoyed women a bit too much, Orson Hyde had never once cheated on a person in his life. The practice didn't even make sense to him. Why would one ruin the trust of another like that?

Suddenly Orson wished his drink had a bit of a kick to it.

Listening to Aiko's story, he couldn't help but smile a bit. She literally broke into top secret things and they brought her onto their side, since they didn't know how to deal with her. That was one of the most impressive things Orson had heard.

"That's amazing," he commented, before shaking his head, "And I know America is a bit weird...but you get used to it. I hadn't left Spain until I decided to come to college here. I hated it at first. But since, I just learned that it isn't all bad. Plus not all the people are idiots. That one took me awhile to convince myself of," he laughed, shaking his head.

Orson rose a brow with a shrug at Aiko's comment about finding a woman who's "as interested in him as he is in her." He didn't fully reply to the statement, simply because he didn't want to talk about it anymore. It wasn't a very pleasant conversation piece for the man, and he was starting to regret bringing it up. Orson didn't actually mean to start talking about his terrible love life - but the words simply slipped through his teeth. He was normally better at having control of the conversation than this. Perhaps he was simply a bit tired - or his Japanese was a bit rusty, causing his brain to jump to things he knew how to say. Either way, his eyes were studying the beads of liquid on the rim of his cup.

Perhaps he'd someday find someone that was right for him.

Or he could get a dog. Romantic love wasn't everything. Sometimes it was nice to just have something to hang out with.

Orson smiled as a touch of pink hit Aiko's cheeks, "So far I have found at least one person who more than interests me, so I suppose it is a start."
"I suppose that is a start," he smiled, playing with the ice in his cup.

Upon asking about his hobbies, the doctor laughed, "Ah...well I like to keep myself entertained," he admitted, leaning back in his chair slightly, "I enjoy playing what the Americans call 'soccer', karaoke, sleeping, learning new languages, and taunting my sister," he smiled widely, "What about you? What does the lovely Aiko do on her off-time?"
