These rules are in no way all encompassing, and are eligible to change at any time. As a member of the site we expect you to know the rules, and not knowing is not an acceptable excuse. Now, on to the good stuff.
1. Your character is not a god. I can not express this enough. Unless you have someone else's explicit permission, do not presume to act for them. This is something the administration will not tolerate. Repeated violations are the fastest way to get yourself banned.
2. Due to Proboard's Terms of Service, we ask that you keep your posts free of explicit content. I'm not going to tell you that you aren't allowed to swear, but let's keep it to that. Anything else (Sex, Excessive Drug Use, ect), will be deleted.
3. We want to keep this site active, and therefore ask that you post on a somewhat regular basis. We understand that life happens, but when you are gone for extended periods of time with no warning we reserve the right to 'retire' your character.
4. On the note of posting, we also ask that your posts are, at a minimum, 200 words. This is not challenging, and honestly we would personally prefer them to be longer. Short posts give everyone else very little to work with, and therefore tend to stall out the story.
5. Respect the Chain of Command. This applies both in and out of character. The staff would prefer to not have to exert their authority, but if push comes to shove we aren't afraid to drop the banhammer.
6. Finally we come to the most important rule, the golden one that is. Treat everyone else the way that you want to be treated. I understand if your characters don't get along, but lets keep that in character. Any fighting out of character will result in an account suspension until the situation has been resolved.
