Madison Frost grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico - on the Kirtland Air Force Base. Her father, Colonel William “Wild Bill” Frost was in charge of the 498th NSW based out of Kirtland. Her mother, Lena, trained new pilots on the F-15, in the 58th wing. Madson was home schooled, but never really excelled in her studies.
It was in New Mexico that she made the acquaintance of a Logan Blackwood. His father worked with hers on base, and the two became good friends. Logan was a tad intimidating, and very intelligent. Madison’s lack of a college-level intellect didn’t dampen their friendship, however.
Logan moved on, with his father, as military personnel often do. Madison remained, continuing her education, and picking up a few skills along the way. Her father often went on hunting trips to Colorado, and Alaska. Madison never really cared for hunting, but she did enjoy shooting competitively. She was quite good with a rifle, but only on the range. Her hands would get shaky if she had to hold a rifle for too long. When she learned to shoot pistol, she learned to aim quick, shoot quick. She got very good, and very fast at it.
When Madison completed her GED, she looked on to college. She enrolled in BYU, majoring in Criminal Justice. When she was at school, she struggled. Coursework was never a strong suit. She took a break from her major program, and enrolled in the CJ’s police academy. It was here where she caught the eye of NID. She was approached by an unnamed agent, and recruited - contingent on her completing her education at BYU.
When she walked across the stage at graduation, she entered the world of the NID. She moved to Washington, and entered the training program there. She quickly learned tricks for retaining information. She created games to help her learn Arabic and French in half a year, and she excelled in the small arms courses.
While in Washington, during her training, she crossed paths with a figure from her past. Logan Blackwood was in town, doing work for AFSOC. They met by happenstance, at a popular bar for service men and women.
Quickly, their old friendship turned into a romantic relationship. The two were polar opposites, but played to each others’ strengths well. Logan brought his knowledge to the table, and Madison - her fun loving persona. She was educated now, and well trained, but played her ignorance up, to a point. She wasn’t customarily a sex symbol in her world, so she did what she could to ensure that Logan loved her.
NID - at this point - knew that the Stargate Program had its eyes on Logan. They transferred Madison to his base, under the cover as a civilian contractor working as a cultural liaison to the special operations teams. They intended to use the relationship as a way to gain access to clandestine information surrounding the Stargate Program.
Madison knew the intricacies of the scheme hatched by her superiors, and went along with it, because it posed little risk to her relationship. It was a very low-key assignment, minimally invasive. She played along. That is, until the day Logan was to propose to her. She had figured it was coming. He had made hints, they had browsed through jewelry stores while out shopping.
She planned on revealing the intentions of NID to him, and foolishly revealed as much to them in a resignation letter she had left. She was abducted from her home before she could leave to meet Logan, and agents crashed her vehicle - her own father was forced to identify a charred female body as his daughter.
NID, at this point, elevated her status, and enrolled her in a training program in London, England. She was conditioned into a private soldier. Waterboarded, tortured, broken - she was molded into a weapon of efficiency. She had no idea at this point, that she had been conscripted by a rogue NID cell. It didn't matter to her. She had changed. Given advanced training in explosive ordinance and bomb making, as well as training in deep-cover situations, integration, and physical fitness.
After spending years in Afghanistan and its surrounding nations, she returned to Washington, opting for an office position, to escape her monotonous day-to-day. It was around this time that the NID went through a sort of ‘house cleaning’ period, where the more nefarious elements were purged.
It was at this time that she learned that her previous team had been a rogue cell, and she was brought in for questioning. The group that brought her in for questioning weren't interested in the activities of the rogue cell - they wanted to know if it bothered her, and she was willing to continue her work.

Madison Frost is a blank slate. At one point she was flippant, carefree, fun loving, and bold. She was quick to talk, and often ridiculed or laughed at for what she said. She was happy, however. She was always one to hit the party scene, the bars, and the clubs.
When it came to relationships, she only ever seriously dated Logan Blackwood. She was occasionally romantically involved while in college, but never anything more than your one nighter, or convenience relationship.
When she and Logan reunited, even though she was working in secret for NID, she was genuine in her emotions towards him. She was fully prepared to leave the agency, and be with him forever, before they changed her mind for her. Several years after, when she inquired of the event, they told her that he had abandoned her. The amnesia caused by her indoctrination left her foggy, and unsure.
After she was indoctrinated into the dark NID team, she snapped. Men took to calling her the Ice Queen behind her back, and it fit. She was cold, calculated, and emotionless. She was ice.
On the inside, she was extremely troubled. She was left with so many unanswered questions, and the inherent secrecy of the NID left her untrusting, and bitter. She has grown to use her numb personality as a weapon like any other. She was utterly unpredictable.
