History
Personal History: Jordan grew up during the turbulent times of the Vietnam War. His father was drafted into the Army, serving four years in Vietnam total. His mother was a drug addict and alcoholic, and his father’s infrequent visits during his times back always grew to violent shouting and physical contact between his parents. A trouble-maker during his school years, Malone enlisted in the US Army his senior year of high school and went to basic that summer. His personal life is really clouded in secrecy; intelligence gathered makes it seem non-existent.

Level 4 Combatives Certification
Service Record: OSUT was a breeze for Jordan, and he was promoted to Private First Class upon completion of the course on August 27, 1982. Once arriving at the 10th Mountain Division following his IET, he remained there for only six months before going to Airborne School and being assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division. Volunterring for Ranger School, he completed it when his slot came up and a year later was transferred to 1st Ranger Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment. Then came Manuel Noriega in Panama, and Operation Just Cause. The Rangers he was with were tasked with aerial insertion to General Noriega’s beach house, where they encountered heavy resistance from the Panamanian military. There was an investigation into his squad’s tactics based on the opposing forces’ interrogations, but nothing conclusive was found. The Gulf War came in the nineties, and was Malone’s first engagement as an officer. Now assigned to the 3rd Ranger Battalion, he conducted numerous raids on Republican Guard complexes, as well as strategic captures of personnel. Malone was involved in the operation in Somalia in 1993, and soon thereafter joined SFOD-D. He remained in this capacity up until 2003, through several operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. After a serious investigation following an incident in Kabul, he accepted a “recommendation” that he retire now to reduce the chances of it affecting his permanent record. Joining the private security contracting firm Global Defense Services, he was quickly appointed a leadership position with their forces in Iraq. After nearly three years, Malone was told that his skills were needed for a new project the US government had going on: the Stargate Program. His position was one of considerable clout, and being that he is employed by Global Defense Services and not directly by the US Government, the oversight of Malone was considerably less stringent, much to the dismay and dispute of military officers.
Finding a renewed sense of duty over a large paycheck, he was recommissioned in his former grade while assigned to the Delian Galaxy Expedition. He was briefly the Commander of SD-3 when the team eliminated the Olympian God known as Poseidon. Following his reassignment to Earth, Lieutenant Colonel Malone has been assigned to counter-intelligence at Homeworld Command since.

Skills: Skilled in most forms of military tactics, as well as weapons proficiency on many platforms.
Personality: Jordan Malone spent most of his life coldly detached from his surroundings, a lack of empathy beneficial in his chosen profession. Following reconciling his differences with Robert Walker and making penance for other actions, he became more of a team player. Even still, counter-intelligence work often goes hand-in-hand with allegiances that can shift at a moment's notice.

Puddle Jumper
Following his inquiry, Malone heard the Chinese member assigned to his team reply, "Sorry sir I'm medical trained not a pilot." To his right, Sergeant Brown shook his head and quipped, "Negative, unless you've got a secret history as a zoomie you ain't telling us about Colonel.” With a slight grimace, the Lieutenant Colonel looked out the forward view port to contemplate the next move …
1254
Approaching the building, Sheng inquired from the rear, “So what's the bottom line here folks?” Brown had just completed a sensor sweep and replied to all of them, “Looks like a whole battalion holed up in their sir … best keep this one on the low down.” At this point, Marcus disappeared into the rear again and could be heard clanging around with the Jumper’s supplies. “Sir, with a full toolkit and a couple days I could have ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ going out over sub-space channels,” the Lieutenant responded as he searched. “Since we don’t have that kinda time, I’m gonna be lucky to get a continuous burst transmission out of it. I’ll do the best I can, but I can’t make any promises.”
With Shang inquiring of further assistance, Malone addressed their pilot, “Take us in for a landing, Sergeant.” As the Jumper went into a steeper dive now, the Lieutenant Colonel called to the others, “Get your gear together people, wheels down in one minute.” Jordan donned his field pack again and snatched up his silenced M-4, ensuring it was prepped and stocked. Marcus now shouted from the door, “Sir, we should destroy the array once we know someone’s on their way for us. We don’t want the enemy to know our encryption codes.”
1256
As the Jumper set down on the building, the ramp was already lowered and the Lieutenant was the first out, followed by Chang and Malone, then the others and Brown last after shutting the Jumper down. Rushing to the structure, the team saw the door to their left slide open and a sentry walk out looking down, unaware of the threat from the team. Without needing to give the order, one of the SD-3 contingent hurried silently to the guard and extracted their knife, slicing the man’s throat with only a slight gurgle, then lowering the body slowly to the ground and dragging it behind a wall. Malone indicated for the team to move inside the structure through the open door and on to the objective.

Communications Array
Having taken out three more sentries without being detected, the team found themselves at the communications array now. With some of the team taking up defensive positions, Malone looked to Marcus and said, “Work your magic, L.T..” Opening his pack, the Lieutenant Colonel tossed some C-4 to Brown and another team member, and the three began placing the explosives around critical areas for the trip out.
