New Player Assistance

Hello, and on behalf of the administrative staff of Homeworld Command, I'd like to welcome you! 

At first, you might feel a little overwhelmed, breaking onto the scene - and that is completely understandable. This site has been functioning for some time now, and people have plots rolling, both individually, and across the main plot and story-lines of the website. From my experience, the best way to tackle this is to do some research, and dive right in. We are a friendly and helpful group of players - and even if you don't have a stellar knowledge of Stargate, you can still have a blast here - I personally am still learning my way around the stargate world, and I manage to fit in. 

The layout may take some getting used to - and finding certain things might seem overwhelming at first, especially if you are new to RP or haven't played on a site with a similar layout. Below, I'll link some common areas of interest, and give a short explanation - this way you can find things you may need in a hurry - and it should help develop your character and your understanding of our story line. If you have any questions, the moderators and admins are here to help, and the regular members are more than willing to help out as well.
