Mission Report:
Our first mission took us to Colombia. It was hot, humid and involved new members I had never worked with before; Adam, Farrah, and Alek. I was elated that Ayden, my dearest friend, was my commanding officer. Two NID agents went missing and it was our mission to retrieve any information on the men and try to find them. Our adventure began on a long winding dirt road that led to a road side stop. We were almost minced meat when Farrah came up with a brilliant idea about bone excavation. I really like her on our team. She brings "home" to our band of soldiers and I am feeling more comfortable around her every time I see her beautiful bright smiling face. Her quirks are always enjoyable and someday I hope to see her grow as I did from my very first mission when stationed on the Delta Expedition. After getting away with selling a rock to the foreigners, we made our way to a location that was suspicious enough to investigate. Inside, there was a wounded man which I attended to giving him life as he was on the brink of a fatal slash across the chest area. Our investigation went a little awry when I traveled upstairs for any hidden clues to our missing agent. But, as my commanding officer and I can read each other like books, she saved my life as she has done countless times before. This mission, however, did question my returning to a new assignment early.
Once we retrieved the agent and secured him inside a helicopter, we all were relieved a mission went without too many issues. However, that was soon demolished when the helicopter exploded in mid-air. I have to assume the NID or someone inside had something to do with this. I am not allowed to further investigate as the higher ups have warned me more than once about going rogue for any reason. So, I will do my best to keep myself at bay but continue to see what I can come up with on my own without the authorities noticing.
