History
Personal History: Born in Derby, England, Farrah grew up watching her father constantly trying to invent things, with her mother slowly shaking her head the entire time. Henry - her father - had a stable job as an engineer at a local company, while her mother - Isabella - worked as a nurse. Farrah grew up a quiet child - especially considering her little brother did nothing but scream at the top of his lungs. She’d often find ways to calm him down when her mother wasn’t looking. It was always something simple like handing him a toy, playing with him, or just asking if he wanted to draw.
Throughout school, she continually got top grades, due to her photographic memory. However, she always struggled with math. She could recall a line from a book she just read perfectly, but choosing the right formula always confused her. Farrah was a bit better at science - but that’s only because she put more effort into it. Learning about basic genetics was far more interesting than solve for x.
In college, she began her first degree in Psychology. She also became engaged to a lovely man named Ed. He ended up going overseas to ‘serve his country’, as she began her Masters. They remained engaged until he returned and didn’t want her to go through the pain of watching him recover. He came back paralyzed from the waist down, with severe PTSD. Though they were broken up, Farrah worked with him to help him recover - since he pushed away all others who tried to help him. She ended up writing her Masters thesis around Ed - and her work with him, and some of his old friends, helped her gain her Ph.D. After working for a bit in the clinical world, she applied to work with the British army - to help men over-seas with their problems. She worked for three years with various situations of people just needing a voice to help them along.
While still working over-seas, she received a call that confused her. She was apparently being reassigned against her own contract with the British Army. A rather long airplane ride later, she found herself flooded with the knowledge of aliens, spaceships, and most of the - the Stargate.
Family:
Jacob Byrne - brother - 30 years old: radio personality.
Isabella Byrne - mother - 66 years old: writes short stories/retired
Henry Byrne- father - 70 years old: continuing to invent things/retired.
Training and Education: Received a Bachelors and Masters in Psychology from Cambridge University, and a Ph.D from Oxford University.
Service Record: Worked with the British Army as a consultant for overseas Psychology work for three years. She then worked for Stargate Homeworld starting in 2009, and has continued to work with the Stargate Program since.
Skills: Being able to read people easily, finding the right words to help people, drinking more than she should be able to for her size, riddles, building things out of Legos, archery (competitive in college), falling asleep quickly, photographic memory, speed-reading, and being able to say her ABC’s backwards without hesitation.
Personality: Though Farrah is generally a very nice person, she is also a rather sarcastic one. When around friends and generally non-clients, she tends to have a quick mouth and wit which sometimes rubs people the wrong way. She’s not a fan of people being sad or being sad herself, so she is the sort of person to constantly seek ways to cheer up either herself or people around her. Farrah also hates being talked down to. She’ll often push back by pushing the buttons that she knows the other person has - until they back off or leave.
She’s a rather intelligent woman, but attempts to not rub it in peoples faces. She found out quite quickly when she was younger, that constantly throwing out ‘look how smart I am’ is a great way to alienate everyone around you, and not make any friends. Because of this, she often downplays her intelligence or acts humbly if its pointed out.
Thanks to the fact that she’s been trained for years and years how to read people, she’s quite excellent at manipulating them. This includes lying straight to peoples faces, being able to purposefully push just the right button, and having a better sense than not when someone is lying to her.

Farrah’s Apartment
Oxford, England
Earth
“You bloody well come say goodbye,” Farrah threatened into her cell, while digging through her apartment, “Don’t know when I’ll be back y’know.”
Getting onto her knees, she began to look under the couch for her favorite pair of socks, which had been missing since before she left for the BA.
“Well that’s all nice and dandy, but I’m at work, love,” a deep voice over the phone laughed, as Farrah hit her head on the underside of the couch, “Hell - I didn’t even know you were back from helping the needy till ‘ya called.”
“Well I didn’t know I was going to be back Jakey, until my arse was thrown on a plane. I also see you didn’t burn down my apartment. Thanks for that.”
Having failed to locate her socks, she pushed herself to her feet - quickly glancing around the two-bedroom apartment. Since she knew she was leaving for a long period of time, she had given her apartment to her then-homeless brother. The fact that the place even slightly resembled how she left it, still was confusing her.
“I’ve lived in the place longer than you have, at this point...so isn’t it technically mine?”
“Nope - still mine,” she located where he had stored her old clothing, and began stuffing it into a suitcase, “Though since I’m leaving again...maybe for Christmas.”
“Hey Far - how long are you in the area? You sound like you’ve been runnin’ around.”
“Not long and I am. Gotta pack and go,” she moved into the bathroom to see if she left any other desirables. A low growl from the bathtub caused her to jump.
“You bought a frakkin’ cat?”
“His name is Squishy.”
“You are such a child.”
“I am 30 years old!”
“Child.”
“I taught him how to use the human loo, ya know.”
“You need a lover, mate,” she laughed, throwing assorted items into her suitcase.
“Oi - shut it. Where are you going again?”
“As I said - can’t tell ya. This call is probably illegal. And no I don’t know when I’ll be back.”
“Less or more danger than talking soldiers out of suicide.”
“About tied? No clue, to be honest. Probably will be savin’ the world, though.”
“You savin’ the world?”
“Okay - not me personally, but I’ll keep the heroic ones from goin’ crazy.”
Pushing her bag closed, she took a deep breath, “Hey Jakey?”
“Far?”
“I’m...out of here. Take care, little bud.”
“I’m a foot taller than you.”
“Shut your hole and take it.”
“I’ll miss you too, Far. Stay safe.”
