Aigyptos
P3X-901
As she attempted to comfort Katrina, there was a wave of...something, that rolled across the woman's face. It was only for a moment and barely discernible from the expression she was already sporting. But something happened in the woman's mind. That something quickly causing her to recover and move on with the mission. Was it something she said? Pushing herself to her feet, Farrah replayed her last words in her head. Her statement about nobody's child dying was generic. She didn't know who did and didn't have offspring in the group. While she was looking at Katrina - she knew the others were listening and a few words were mostly for their benefit. She knew Ayden had a son. She assumed Adam didn't have a child - though everyone has their past. Maybe he did. Farrah honestly knew nothing about Jackson other than he was an important man in the Stargate program who had a gift with lore and languages. With Katrina, she honestly had no idea if she did or didn't have a child. Judging by her reactions to everything, Farrah was starting to guess the answer was yes.
Upon being asked if she was a firstborn by that very same woman, she nodded, "Yes. I'm the oldest and have a little brother," she admitted with a shrug. Her knowledge of the plagues was somewhat limited. She knew the quote, she knew the story, but some of the intricacies were lost to her. Did firstborn simply apply to people who had multiple children? Or was it also directed at people who only had one?
Following the group, she listened to Ayden's words about the time difference. The entire concept of time moving at different speeds just through a wall was...well very science fiction. The fact that her life had exposed that what was once locked to television, movies, and novels was - in fact - reality, always pulled a smile on her face at night. Plus she knew that her brother would cry in jealousy if he knew. That boy loved scifi. She was more of a 'thriller' and 'horror' person, herself.
Arriving at the location, Farrah watched the science team explain themselves. A slight dropping feeling settled deep within her stomach at the words, 'Our scanners aren't showing any way to get out of here.'
Well, that wasn't good. That wasn't good at all.
The plagues were also apparently coming in waves - Jackson realizing that they were in the last 'cycle'.
Farrah opened her mouth to ask if the plagues had been present within the scientists - but Jackson was quicker on the draw. While Farrah wasn't exactly a religion person, in that moment, she was praying that the answer was 'just the population.'
