Logan watched intently as the two young soldiers began playing around with the ZPM's. Logan was in no way a tech, and was not comfortable in this situation at all. Still, every avenue needed to be addressed. The Zero-Point Modules needed to be addressed. He watched as Azalea failed to get it operational, but wasn't entirely surprised. The voice - it still echoed in his mind. He felt like he'd heard those words before, but it sounded biblical - and that was as close as he could get to nailing it down. Through all of his reading, he had never managed to read about God much - it seemed like a lost cause for him, especially late in his life.
Shannon began messing with the priceless ancient technology next, and Logan just stood back, watching intently, but being helplessly lost all the same. He was still ticked about Shannon following him and Azalea down the corridor, instead of lending her knowledge to Alavair and Lucas. He chalked it up to fear and exposure. She was still blathering on like she was feeling effects from the gas leak, and he knew better - but fear was a powerful additive in and of itself. He decided not to address it until they were safe.
When she completed her tinkering, and no measurable success was met, he looked around the room. "Ok," he said, as he began to think through the process. "Atlantis runs off of 3 of these bad boys, so let's go about this logically. When my DirecTV remote stops working, I replace on battery at a time, until I find out which one is dead." he trailed off - nodding to himself. "Hope you ladies don't mind some lifting, lets load another one of these up, and see if anything happens."

It took a troubling amount of time to maneuver the old ZPM off of it's connectors, and get another one in place. The two girls, while smart, and effective, were not as strong as Logan, and it made for slow progress. Finally, however, they managed to get the device into place, and the connections re-established. Logan backed Shannon and Azalea off, and instructed Shannon to hit the switch, or whatever it was that brought the grid online.
Nothing happened, at first. Then, the devices lit up, and the lighting around them brightened, the little lights and gizmo's on the walls turned on, and the automatic door opened behind them. Relief flooded Logan's face, as he came to terms with the fact that they had salvaged the situation, and they would make it.
It was short lived, his vision was overcome with brightness, flooded with white once more, and his ears were filled with a silence like screaming, and the voice came again.
"Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you."
When the brightness retreated, Logan found the lights dimmed once more, and the ZPM's lifeless and inert. They were back to square one.
